Position Description and Responsibilities
The Regional Director initiates and maintains relationships with manufacturers, assesses their challenges and opportunities, and sells Impact Utah’s training, consulting, and coaching solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs and identifying potential Impact Utah resources, leading sales calls and delivering sales presentations, coordinating sales efforts with Impact Utah’s technical experts, building the sales pipeline, and networking to generate sales leads.
Regional Director will provide direct consultation to manufacturers within their own area of expertise, prepare proposals, deliver sales presentations, and manage project engagements. They also participate on Impact Utah’s service development and process improvement teams.
This Regional Director position is responsible for Southern Utah, including rural Utah.
Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of successful sales experience, consultative sales and/or business-to-business sales preferred. Candidates with strong education, experience and an extensive network of connections in one of our 5 focus areas would be ideal (Continuous Improvement, Leadership and Strategy, Supply Chain, Workforce Solutions and Revenue Acceleration). Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills required, experience with Saleforce.com preferred.
Consideration will be given to candidates with the proven ability to lead companies down a path of continuous improvement, with the demonstrated capacity to diagnose company needs and effectively communicate value to all levels of the company, from production personnel to top management.
Candidates should be sincerely interested in helping manufacturers improve their business. Must have strong work ethic, a passion for consultative selling, a great attitude, and ability to thrive in an autonomous, objective-driven environment. An Impact Utah Regional Director will need tact and diplomacy in interacting with manufacturers, professional associations, government stakeholder representatives, and other service providers.
Candidates must reside in St. George or surrounding areas.
Position requires travel to manufacturing facilities across the state. Driving is an essential function of the job. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Applicants must be capable of accessing manufacturing facilities which may not be ADA accessible.
