Small Business Quarantined Employee Grant

As COVID-19 infection rates continue to soar in Utah, a grant offered by the State of Utah and administered through the Labor Commission, allows employers to pay employees to quarantine or isolate for up to 14 days and then seek reimbursement from the Commission. The reimbursement will be for the total labor burden, or for the total amount paid for the employee for that two week period.

Awards for the Small Business Quarantined Employee Grant will be awarded based on available funds and disbursed on a qualifying first come, first served basis.

Application Deadline: December 30, 2020 is the final quarantined or isolated day for which a request may be made under this grant. 

All grant requests must be made on or before 5:00 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2021.  

Program Start Date: October 1, 2020

Program End Date: When available funds are exhausted or December 30, 2020.
