Six Sigma Yellow Belt

The Six Sigma Yellow Belt course is an introductory course to provide an understanding of the Six Sigma methodology and basic toolset to employees who participate in Continuous Improvement, but don’t yet lead Improvement projects.

Certified Yellow Belts can productively add to existing Six Sigma projects and help team members start to recognize areas that could benefit from improvement activities. Attendees will learn:

  • Workplace support of Six Sigma projects and how to increase their success
  • How to identify, monitor and control profit-eating practices
  • Root Causation techniques, and tools
  • Maximize resources using Statistical Process Control
  • Introduction to the DMAIC methodology
  • Understand, and be able to create Process Maps
  • Team participation interaction with Subject Matter Experts (SME) on a projects
