Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training

8 sessions add on to Green Belt, Best for Engineers and Process Owners.

Black Belts lead the Continuous Improvement efforts in an organization. They drive complex cross functional projects using powerful statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques. If you love crunching data, this is the course for you. Black Belt candidates are required to complete a process improvement project as part of their course work. Students learn tools and techniques including:

  • Lean Management Systems
  • Design of Experiments
  • Attribute Control Charts
  • Analyzing Non-normal data

Cedro Toro

Cedro is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, BSEE, and MBA with over 20 years’ experience helping both Utah and Fortune 500 companies like Nitto, Consumer Reports, and Wolverine save millions of dollars through process improvement. Cedro teaches leaders how to improve flow in their business processes, reduce waste and inventory, and improve quality by engaging their most important resource, their people.


Ryan Mecham

Ryan has over 20 years’ experience helping companies increase profitability by training and implementing Lean operations systems. As COO of Power Blanket Ryan quadrupled the company’s throughput and received the Manufacturer of the Year Award as well as the Manufacturing Excellence Award from AME. Ryan holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Utah.
