Win’s leadership portfolio is diverse. Throughout his career, he has achieved success in the computer, engineering, security, and overnight delivery industries, among others. One of his many career accomplishments was founding Aperion Audio where he became a pioneer of online, direct-to-consumer commerce, and a leader in the audiophile and home theater markets.
This range of experience gives Win the knowledge necessary to meet with any business team and quickly identify core business performance needs. He excels at simplifying complex problems, and distilling them into actionable, prioritized outcomes.
Prior to his position at iMpact Utah, Win was the Director of the Business Resource Center (BRC), the University Business Incubator, the Director of Executive Education, and served as the Associate Vice President of Academic Outreach and Economic Development at Utah Valley University (UVU). Under his leadership, the business incubator achieved record investment: 11.5 times more capital than the previous two reporting periods combined.
Win lives a life of adventure scuba diving, hunting, flying small planes, mountain biking, and riding motorcycles. He’s also an avid reader and lifelong learner who loves nothing more than spending time with family.

Shane Barber has amassed over 30 years of manufacturing experience and facilitated transformations for over 200 companies. He carries a record of improving performance by 20+% on metrics of safety, quality, cost, output, and morale, in addition to helping companies achieve 2x growth in revenues.
Shane is a giant of innovation. Before his role at iMpact, he founded Carbon Dwell Homes—a family-run business dedicated to creating custom, alternative dwellings by “upcycling” shipping containers.
Shane has a degree in production operations management along with training in organizational development and design from Columbia University. Shane has held roles in HR, org development, executive coaching, and performance consulting.
Sumer has over 25 years of direct MEP management experience and manufacturing consulting.
Sumer is a nerd about efficient systems and passionate about building processes that push businesses to reach their full potential. She has run a medical manufacturing company and knows what it means to be on the client's side of improvement. Sumer also participated in the 2018 Colorado Governor's Fellowship program and has volunteered with a number of state programs and boards.
She has served as Director of Business Development, Chief of Programs and Operations, COO, and CEO. Her degree is in business with emphasis in information systems.

Eric Burton is a seasoned lean manufacturing expert with over 15 years of experience and a no-nonsense approach to process improvement. He provides tailored training and workshops for Utah manufacturers, helping them execute strategic plans, boost profits, and enhance team morale.
Eric learned lean manufacturing as a “blue-collar guy on the shop floor.” That experience has let him connect with team members that may be skeptical about the value of lean implementation. He understands that the best way to motivate employees and reduce turnover is to empower them with the ability to find solutions to their work problems. As part of iMpact Utah’s commitment to delivering real results, he is fearless about telling clients what they need to hear to increase employee satisfaction and profits.
Eric is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has an Associate of Applied Science from Utah Valley University (UVU).
Acquiring new knowledge is Eric’s primary hobby—though he admits this may sound “nerdy,” researching operation principles and looking for identifiable patterns of success is one of his favorite past-times. He also enjoys woodturning, hiking, rock tumbling, and playing the bagpipes. Burton serves as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.
Stacy Ungricht’s diverse professional experience includes management in quality assurance, Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, operations management, employee relations, marketing events, corporate training, project management, and compliance auditing.

Prior to iMpact Utah, Stacy was the bookstore manager of Mountainland Technical College (MTech) for eight years, overseeing four campus locations, the printing center, and a portion of the MTech marketing department. She also worked as a project manager assistant at Novell for over nine years. Her other professional experiences include work as a cofounder of RidingLife, a branch office manager for Cambridge Financial, and a quality assurance manager for Security Metrics.
Stacy’s early career was in nursing where she worked for over 10 years. She earned her associate degree from Utah Valley University and her nursing degree from the Excelsior College Nursing Program.
Stacy and her two children are self-proclaimed “outdoor junkies.” Having grown up exploring the mountains of Utah with family, she looks forward to any time she can spend on kayaks, on boards, or hiking.
Catherine Bennett is a Master of Professional Communication, StoryBrand Certified Guide (Google it), and certified word nerd. She uses her writing and marketing expertise to connect Utah manufacturers with the resources that help them succeed. She also uses are her broad marketing skillset, knowledge, and experience to help iMpact clients hone their brand and marketing strategies to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
Her bread and butter is building brands with sharp, clear messaging and applying that messaging through sales funnels, creative work, content marketing, and beyond.
Before her role at iMpact, Catherine founded Backpack Marketing, a Utah-based, fractional marketing agency that provides big-agency marketing to small businesses. She has also worked with more than 20 international marketing teams, coordinating global marketing communications.
She has helped multiple business owners double and triple leads through brand and marketing strategy. She has also built or rebuilt 50+ brands over the course of her career.
When Catherine is away from her desk, she chases her three kids around and enjoys reading non-fiction books, hiking, exploring, and writing creative copy for ecommerce brands.
Karely is a brand alchemist with a track record for crafting stunning and unforgettable visual identities for numerous Utah-based businesses.

Prior to working at iMpact Utah, Wandry was a technology & data analyst for Brigham Young University (BYU) within their career services department. He is skilled in multiple languages including Python, React, C#, C++, and SQL. Wandry holds a Bachelor's of Information Systems from BYU and is originally from Colorado.

Nate NeVille has over 14 years supporting companies looking to achieve ISO certifications. His business-friendly approach has enabled him to work with companies of all sizes serving a slew of industries.
Nate prides himself on helping companies build systems that will set them up for future success not only in achieving ISO certification but also in how to maintain the certification forward. His work includes gap analysis, document preparation, process improvement to address findings, and internal auditor training.
Erik is an engineer and business consultant who has a deep knowledge of manufacturing automation and excels in deploying new technology systems in small to large businesses.
He has elevated dozens of businesses’ operations processes and prepared them for organizational change. Erik also offers a wealth of information to clients around selecting and implementing the latest technology. He’s quick to understand new technology and solve pivotal problems, which he has demonstrated in his roles with i-Automation, Minarik, and more.

Bryant Vásquez is a cybersecurity specialist with over 10 years of experience in his field. As the official cybersecurity representative of the NIST MEP National Network in Utah and a CMMC-AB registered practitioner, Vásquez is a proven expert in performing cybersecurity gap analyses, training clients in cybersecurity best practices, and helping manufacturers respond to cyber threats.

Before iMpact Utah, Vásquez worked at the University of Utah Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center (UUMEP) where he developed and led the Utah NIST MEP information security program. Vásquez also worked at Broadcom, Equinox, and Symantec.
Vásquez has a Master’s of Science in Information Systems and Cybersecurity from the University of Utah. Vásquez has also earned numerous certifications in his field.
Vásquez enjoys hiking, biking, and playing soccer, as well as spending time with his kids. Originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Vásquez started an initiative he calls “Empowering Through Education” in which he organizes and coordinates funding to help disadvantaged children in his home country receive an education.
Forrest Fackrell brings 35 years of dynamic project management experience in several industries and across the globe. Forrest has consistently helped companies implement and maintain continuous advancement strategies.

Forrest’s career began with aerospace where he worked as a design and proposal engineer for Thiokol (now Northrop Grumman). Following that, he worked in the automotive industry as part of Autoliv, which included managing relationships with BMW and Porsche, where he served as program manager for Autoliv’s European facilities. Additionally, Fackrell spent time in Japan, training and learning directly from Toyota.
Eventually, Forrest returned to the aerospace industry as an executive manager at the Space Dynamics Lab out of Utah State University.
Forrest has an MBA in business from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Utah State University.
Outside of work, Forrest’s focus is spending time with his family and doing projects around the house. He and his wife founded the Cache Valley Fun Park, a family entertainment center that is in its 25th year.
Bill Lee is an experienced leader and economic development specialist. Whether developing professional training courses, connecting manufacturers to supportive resources, or helping workers earn certifications, Lee is dedicated to helping Utah manufacturers excel.

Prior to his work at iMpact Utah, Bill served as Utah County Commissioner for eight years. During that time, Bill gained invaluable experience managing policies, budgets, and economic development. From 2010 to 2014, Bill also served as the Deputy State Director and Central Utah Director. Bill’s work and experience as an elected official demonstrate his commitment to economic vitality in Utah.
Bill majored in political science at Brigham Young University. Additionally, Bill is a Master Tradesman in HVAC, owning multiple companies.
Outside of work, Bill is an amateur stained-glass artist who likes to spend time outdoors. He enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, small boat sailing, gardening, and canning with his wife.
Brian Anderson specializes in helping manufacturers identify sustainable solutions to their problems. Brian brings to iMpact Utah over 20 years of experience in public relations, sales, and helping companies achieve excellence. Serving mid-Utah, from South Salt Lake to Vernal, Brian is committed to reaching as many companies as he can so that Utah manufacturers can prosper.
Brian believes in putting his clients first. Making sure they get what they need to overcome their obstacles is what drives him in his work.

Before iMpact Utah, Brian was the Regional Sales Director for First Data, one of the largest merchant services companies nationally. He was also the personal public relations (PR) coordinator for the owner of Domo and was the press handler for the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.
Brian earned a bachelor’s in communication from Southern Utah University and is a devoted father. He spends much of his free time supporting his four daughters and going on trips with his family.
Steve Silvester has been involved in the manufacturing industry for over 35 years. He has loved helping customers solve problems across a wide range of industries including flooring, store fixtures, solar, transportation, rolling doors, data centers, and pool covers.
Steve has proven success in B2B manufacturing sales and service, growing brands, and capturing market share in direct sales and distribution channels.
He loves watching clients review heatmap assessments and helping them build an optimization plan!
Steve has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from American Public University. When he’s not at work, he’s most likely with his family, serving in his church, at a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) function, or spending as much time outdoors as he can doing yard work, gardening, tending chickens, or fishing.
Jared Nielson is a specialist in relationship management with 20 years of experience. Connor uses his business strategy background to help manufacturers identify their most pressing needs and find solutions that make the biggest impact. He has worked in multiple departments, giving him insight into how people and processes successfully work together that create great outcomes.
Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including a regional manager at Lumio, operations manager at Blue Raven Solar, and marketing administrator at 5Strata. Connor’s displayed his aptitude for high performance when he led one of the top-performing teams at Lumio and improved inspection quality by 15% at Blue Raven, consistently outperforming industry standards by over 10%. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in achieving the first cash flow positive quarter for Blue Raven’s 3rd-party work department by managing their P&L statement.
Connor’s strength lies in facilitating engaging conversations, setting goals, and creating action plans for teams ranging from 5 to 80 members. His strategic mindset drives continuous process improvement and helps others reach their full potential.

Justin Hawkes has built strong relationships across the manufacturing industry, leveraging his breadth of business expertise to quickly connect manufacturers with the resources they need to succeed.
Justin knows manufacturing well, having worked in the industry since he was a teenager. His experience in the industry spans quality control, logistics, account management, sales, marketing, and customer support.
Before joining iMpact Utah, Justin was the Business Development Director for the Utah Manufacturers Association (UMA). He optimized member benefits, boosted engagement, and oversaw events, including cohorts, training academies, and tours. He also cultivated and managed annual investor relationships, ensuring their needs were fulfilled.
At health supplement company 4Life Research, Justin trained employees at their Utah headquarters and Asia offices, managed onboarding, customer support, and strategic accounts. While working for software company EmpathIQ, Justin helped his clients procure more 5-star reviews and higher Google ratings through reputation management software.
His years of exposure to manufacturing operations has equipped him with a deep understanding of how businesses of all sizes, from startups to established players, work efficiently. His ability to identify client needs and translate them into solutions, while having empathy for their challenges, makes him the ultimate champion for the businesses he works with.
Lisa has the ability to coordinate any team, process, or project with precision. She is a master scheduler and simultaneously keeps all of iMpact’s engagements on paths to success. Additionally, she’s an expert in inventory management and quality assurance.
Lisa has filled multiple administrative roles, most recently working with ThermoWorks for almost 15 years. In this position, she was integral to keeping the warehouse’s inbound operations running seamlessly. She is translating that experience to the iMpact team by making sure all events and commitments are a positive experience for all.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her seven children, hiking, paddleboarding, traveling, and going to concerts.
Kendrey Shaw is an invaluable member of iMpact Utah’s team of experts. Kendrey coordinates events and tracks the measurable success of customer relationships, ensuring that clients continue to receive first-class service.

Before iMpact Utah, Kendrey worked at doTERRA, assisting customers, compiling data, and collaborating with team members to accomplish goals and reach initiatives. She has also spent time volunteering at Ellis Island on behalf of her church, which enabled her to develop her interpersonal skills while meeting people from around the world and experiencing different cultures.
Kendrey is in the process of earning her degree at Utah Valley University.
Outside work, you’ll likely find Kendrey playing sports, hanging out with family and friends, or catching a movie with her spouse.
There aren’t many problems Rachel can’t solve with an Excel spreadsheet. She is a Master of Accountancy with a focus on corporate accounting and has served as an accountant in multiple industries, including dental, transportation, death care, and now, consulting.
She earned her Master of Accountancy degree from Utah Valley University after earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from BYU-Hawaii. She is extremely organized, which translates at work and at home. She said her love for Excel developed because the program matches the way her brain naturally synthesizes information. Spreadsheets are her “creative outlet.”
In Rachel’s free time, she enjoys trying new places to eat and ranking them in her thorough restaurant review spreadsheets. She can tell you exactly where and what you should eat in Utah and Salt Lake Counties—from sushi to food trucks—by looking at her 1 to 5-star ranking system. Rachel also enjoys gaming and reading.
